Reconciliation SA is pleased to present the 4th annual Reconciliation SA Fundraiser Gala at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre Theatre. This year’s theme, “Together Towards Tomorrow”, is a call to our allies to step forward in unity to drive change and improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, while fostering respectful relationships between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Our 2025 theme builds on our organisations collective work and represents the essence of reconciliation - bringing people together, showcasing the values of unity, respect, and truth-telling, and leading the way in supporting meaningful change for a better South Australia.

Nornie Bero, an Island woman from the Komet Tribe of the Meriam people in the Torres Strait, is a renowned chef with over 25 years of experience.
As the founder and CEO of Mabu Mabu, she leads a native foods business that includes a flagship restaurant, catering service, and retail products.
Nornie is also the author of a cookbook and an ambassador for COLES, as well as a 'Friend of Australia' with Tourism Australia.
Nornie has appeared on several major TV shows, including Zac Efron’s Down to Earth on Netflix, Adam Liaw’s The Cook Up on SBS, and her own show Island Echoes on SBS.
She has also participated in high-profile projects like Cunard’s Culinary Cruise Kitchen Takeover, Taste of Australia, Farm to Fork, and the Maggie Beer Challenge on ABC.
Through her work, she showcases Indigenous Australian food and advocates for sustainability and cultural inclusivity.

Yes this is an 18+ event as the tickets include a complimentary beverages package.
Your cut off date to add ALL dietary requirements and names for your table is 12pm Friday 5 September 2025. In September, you will receive an automated email via our ticketing platform, Humanitix, with a link to follow to add all your final dietary requirements, if you are not able to include them at the time of booking your table. Alternatively you can open your booking confirmation email at any time and select 'manage order' to edit attendee information as many times as you need to until the cut off date.
Thanks to the generous support of our Community Table Sponsors, a limited number of complimentary tickets to our 2025 Gala are available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
These tickets are intended to honour and support Elders, Traditional Custodians, Cultural Leaders, Students, Community Members, Small Business Owners and Low Income Earners, within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
Tickets will be allocated on a first-in, first-served basis via the Expression of Interest (EOI) form.
As a premier fundraising event on the Reconciliation SA social calendar, we are unable to offer any discounts to members for this event. The member benefit is 24 hours of early access to tickets before General Admission goes on sale. Please ensure your member details are up to date so that you are receiving your email with your early access link from 10am on Wednesday 23 July.
Prior to the event, all guests will be emailed with their table number and a seating plan so that you can gauge where in the room to look for your table. Tables will be clearly numbered on the evening. It is the responsibility of the buyer to share your table number with all guests who you have booked for.

The Adelaide Entertainment Centre is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible venue for all our guests and offers a range of accessibility options and facilities to ensure all patrons have an enjoyable event experience. As per previous years we will be using Gala Bid, an online Silent Auction Platform. Guests will be provided information on how to sign up via email prior to the Gala and will be given sign up instructions on the night too.
A full catalogue will be sent to guests via email in the lead up to the event and will also be available within the Gala Bid platform, and as a hard copy on your tables. There will be items from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned businesses as well as non-Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned businesses. Expect things like event tickets, vouchers for unique experiences, bespoke furniture, art and gift boxes.
Refunds are available up to 30 days prior to the event. After this time, you can change the details against your booking to a different person until the 5th of September, when dietary requirements close.
