We know what’s going on

Reconciliation South Australia are inviting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who currently work or have worked in the education sector to participate in our research project “We know what’s going on”.

This research, organised by Reconciliation South Australia and guided by an Aboriginal governance group, aims to understand the experiences of Aboriginal educators with racism and anti-racism in South Australian schools.

Addressing racism towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is a priority for Reconciliation SA. A State free of racism where relationships between all Australians are respectful of cultures, rights and experiences is one of five identified dimensions of reconciliation identified by Reconciliation SA. Reconciliation SA conducts anti-racism training in schools, workplaces and sports settings and has developed an anti-racism toolkit for educators and school staff.

If you are interested in participating, please email tellthemthefacts@anu.edu.au to discuss options.
