Our Events

Reconciliation SA hosts two flagship events every year, partners on other events and attends community events where possible.

Our Flagship Events

The National Reconciliation Week Breakfast

The Annual Reconciliation SA Gala

Each year Reconciliation SA hosts the Annual National Reconciliation Week (NRW) Breakfast to launch NRW week in South Australia. The in-demand event offers individual tickets or tables with early access for members. There will be live performances and key speakers.

Reconciliation SA is pleased to present the Gala which is held on Kaurna Yerta every year since 2022. This very culinary event treats guests to a native-themed dinner and allows guests the opportunity to support our organisation's work in promoting and advocating for First Nations rights across SA by bidding during the event's silent auction.

Reconciliation Week Breakfast FAQs

When is the event being held?

The National Reconciliation Week Breakfast will be held on Monday 27 May 2024 7am – 9am at the Adelaide Convention Centre. The full program will be announced on Wednesday 20 March 2024.

When are tickets going on sale?
Tickets will be going on sale on Wednesday 20 March 2024 at 10am ACST.

An email will be sent out to all our news subscribers including members, as well as posts on our social media channels and website. These notifications will include a link to Humanitix to purchase your tickets. Due to the popularity of this event we strongly advise that you purchase tickets as close to the release date so as to avoid the disappointment of missing out.

How can I guarantee a table/seat at the 2024 National Reconciliation Week Breakfast?
Each year the NRW Breakfast sells out very quickly. This year we have increased the capacity to meet demand. However, to ensure that you are guaranteed a seat at the event, you have a couple of options:
1. Become a member of Reconciliation SA. Members will receive early access 24 hours prior to General Admission tickets going on sale.
2. Sign up to our newsletter, to receive an EDM straight to your inbox once General Admission tickets go on sale.

I am booking a table, but I won’t have all the names and dietary requirements for each guest right away. Can I add this information at a later date?
Your deadline to add ALL dietary requirements and names for your table is 5pm Friday 17 May 2024. In May, you will receive an automated email via our ticketing platform Humanitix with a link to follow to add all your final dietary requirements if you are not able to include them at the time of booking your table. Or you can go into your original booking confirmation email any time before the cut off date to update attendee information by clicking the link 'Edit Order'.

Are there any complimentary tickets available?
If you identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person and are unable to purchase a ticket, you may be eligible for a complimentary ticket, through the generosity of our Community Table sponsors. Please follow this link and scroll to the bottom of the page to join the Community Ticket Registrar. We are unable to guarantee a free ticket for everyone who expresses their interest in attending as our free ticket allocation is limited, however we do our best, based on the amount of free tickets we have available through our sponsors.
What do I do if I miss out on a ticket?
You are able to join the waitlist via Humanitix. Simply head to Humanitix and search our event, select 'Get Tickets' and then 'Join Waitlist'.

For any tickets that may become available, they will be offered to those who are first on the list. If you would like to know where you are placed within the waiting list, please email
Where can I find more information about the 2024 NRW theme?
Further information on 2024's NRW theme, 'Now More Than Ever' is available at Reconciliation Australia’s website.
