First Nations led small to medium arts organisations are invited to submit a proposal for a one-off capacity building investment for the 2026 calendar year. This one-off investment is only eligible to legally constituted organisations or enterprises

The Voices Rising Fund is a major new initiative from the Awesome Black Foundation, designed to elevate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices by supporting the creation of publishable works across literature and music of all styles and genres. A maximum of $60,000 is available each year to be distributed to selected projects.

This grant supports collaboration between professional artists and communities to achieve inclusive artistic, cultural and social outcomes.
Applications that explore social and cultural issues with regional South Australian communities, people with disability, young people, culturally-diverse communities, emerging communities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and remote communities are encouraged.

This grant supports the creative development, production and presentation of new work. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individual artists and arts and cultural workers, groups and arts and cultural organisations can apply for projects across all art forms.

This grant supports professional development opportunities for individual Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and arts workers to undertake skills development and training that is relevant to their arts practice or professional practice as an arts or cultural worker.

First Nations Crisis Relief Grants and support are available to First Nations musicians, managers, crew and music workers across all genres experiencing financial hardship as the result of illness, injury, mental health, older age or another current crisis that is impacting their ability to work in music.

Support Act Funeral Grants are available to those who have worked in the Australian Music Industry for a significant portion of their professional working life.

NAIDOC Local Grants provide a contribution towards the cost of local and regional NAIDOC Week activities across Australia - it is not expected to cover the full running costs of an event. It is expected that most grants will be awarded for $10,000 or less.

The Local Investments Funding Grant Opportunity enables strategic and rapid response to address local issues to benefit First Nations people and facilitate improved community and government engagement. The objective of a Local Investments Funding grant is to deliver outcomes, aligned to community needs government priorities and Closing the Gap targets by providing funding of no more than $125,000 (GST exclusive)

Native title-holding corporations are known as Prescribed Bodies Corporate (PBCs). PBCs can access funding through the Indigenous Advancement Strategy (IAS), called ‘PBC Capacity Building grant funding’. This funding assists PBCs to grow organisational capacity and generate economic benefits from their land.
