Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are the custodians of the world's oldest continuing cultures. For tens of thousands of years they have cared for Country, developed sophisticated systems of knowledge, governance and environmental stewardship, and sustained communities and cultures across this continent.

 

Those contributions continue today through leadership, innovation and excellence across every field of Australian life.
