The Pirltawardli Collective invite the wider community members, supporters, and allies to stand with them in the protection and preservation of Pirltawardli on Kaurna Yarta, a place of deep Cultural, historical, and Spiritual importance.

This gathering is a respectful call to recognise and honour the enduring connection of Kaurna people to Country, and to help protect this shared cultural heritage for generations to come.

This gathering is to raise awareness of:

~ The significance of honouring our Kaurna Ancestors and protecting their legacy.
~ The cultural and environmental importance of Pirltawardli for Everyone.
~ The impact of tree removal and land disturbance on the natural environment.
~ The long term ongoing effects on native wildlife, including birds, possums, and local plants and animals.

This is a peaceful and united call for Visibility, Respect, and Accountability.  The gathering reflects the strength of the Kaurna community and our shared duty to care for Country. Those who value Cultural Heritage, Environmental protection, and truth-telling are invited to stand with The Pirltawardli Collective in solidarity.

Together, you gather in presence, purpose, and respect.

The Pirltawardli Collective are currently seeking support with essential practical items, including:

  • Tents

  • A generator

  • Outdoor seating

  • Floodlights

  • A fire pit

All to assist in creating a safe and welcoming space for community members gathering in support of this important cause. These resources will help provide shelter, lighting, and comfort, ensuring that all who stand together can do so in a supported environment.

The Pirltawardli Collective encourage the community to support this significant effort to protect Pirltawardli.

Details of a Palti/Corroboree gathering will be shared soon. With excavation works scheduled to commence on 27th April, it is vital that the community come together in solidarity to stand for the protection of this important Kaurna heritage site & history.
